I hate marketing. There: I said it!
But I love it when my designs sell, and effective marketing means more of my designs sell.
I’ve been trying to find more ways to get the word out about my designs and what’s available, and where.
I’ve been experimenting more with GIFs. I discovered how to add text:
I also realized yet again the power of marketing “sold” items. If someone else bought this and loved it, then… you may too!
And then, there are places where a GIF won’t do, and a video works so much better.
I like GIFs because they’re short, there isn’t a lot to them, and I don’t have to add music or dialogue, or narration.
I like movies (as long as they aren’t too long) because I can add more to them: more description, fun music…
Here’s a link to my latest (very short) movie:
What I don’t like as well about movies: they take forever to get all the nitpicky details squared away.
Which do you like better for marketing? GIFs or Movies?
You can create GIFs too! Here’s the link.
